SMS Booking Confirmations

Down By The Bay RV Resort & Campground uses SMS text messaging to send booking confirmations to guests who make reservations through our automated phone system.

How We Obtain Consent

When you call our reservation line and complete a booking, our AI assistant will inform you: "I've sent you a text message with all the details and payment instructions." By continuing with your reservation after this notification, you provide verbal consent to receive the booking confirmation via SMS.

What Messages You'll Receive

You will receive a single transactional SMS message containing:

• Your booking confirmation code
• Your assigned site number
• Your check-in date
• Payment instructions
• Our contact phone number

We do not send marketing messages. SMS confirmations are sent only for completed bookings.

Message Frequency & Charges

You will receive one SMS message per booking. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan. Down By The Bay RV Resort does not charge for SMS messages, but your carrier's standard rates apply.

How to Opt Out

You can opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by:

• Replying STOP to any SMS message from us
• Calling us at 361-326-2297 to request removal
• Emailing us through our contact form

After you opt out, you will not receive future SMS confirmations. However, you will still receive your booking confirmation through other means (email or phone).
