Park Rules & Policies
These rules exist to ensure a safe, clean, and enjoyable experience for every guest at Down By The Bay RV Resort & Campground. All guests and visitors are expected to follow these policies at all times.

Quiet Hours
- Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM daily.
- During quiet hours, all noise must be kept to a minimum — music, generators, and loud conversations are not permitted.
- Generators may be used outside of quiet hours only.
- Excessive noise at any time of day that disturbs neighboring guests is not permitted.
Vehicles & Speed Limit
- Speed limit throughout the park is 5 MPH at all times. No exceptions.
- One (1) vehicle is included per site at no additional charge.
- Additional vehicles are $10.00 per vehicle per month.
- Side-by-sides (UTVs) and golf carts are permitted on your site at no additional cost.
- ATVs are permitted on your site. ATVs may not be operated on park roads or common areas.
- Small boats and boat trailers are permitted on your site.
- All vehicles must be parked within your designated site boundaries.
- Inoperable, unlicensed, or abandoned vehicles are not permitted.
Pets
- Pets are welcome! Maximum of four (4) pets per site.
- All pets must be on a leash when outside of your site at all times.
- Pet pens and enclosures are permitted within your site.
- Pet owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets immediately.
- Pets must not be left unattended outside for extended periods.
- Aggressive or excessively barking animals may be asked to leave the park.
- Guests are fully responsible for any damage or injury caused by their pets.
Guests & Visitors
- Overnight guests are permitted.
- Up to four (4) guests per site are included at no additional charge.
- Each additional guest beyond four (4) is $10.00 per guest.
- All guests and visitors are the responsibility of the registered site occupant.
- Guests must comply with all park rules at all times.
- Visitors who are not staying overnight must leave the property by 10:00 PM.
Storage & Site Structures
- Guests are permitted to place a small shed or storage container on their site for personal belongings.
- Structures must be kept neat, clean, and within the boundaries of your site.
- No permanent structures may be built without prior written approval from management.
- Sites must be kept clean and free of clutter. Excessive accumulation of items is not permitted.
- Tarps used for shade or storage must be maintained in good condition.
Alcohol
- Alcohol is permitted on your site and in common areas.
- Canned beverages only — glass bottles are strictly prohibited throughout the park.
- Guests are expected to consume alcohol responsibly.
- Public intoxication that disturbs other guests will not be tolerated.
Fires & Fireworks
- Fireworks of any kind are strictly prohibited on the property.
- Open fires must be contained in a fire ring or approved fire pit.
- Fires must never be left unattended.
- Fires must be fully extinguished before retiring for the night.
- Burning of trash, plastics, or toxic materials is prohibited.
- During burn bans issued by local authorities, all outdoor fires are prohibited.
Firearms & Safety
- Firearms and weapons of any kind are strictly prohibited on the property.
- This includes handguns, rifles, BB guns, pellet guns, and crossbows.
- Any guest found in possession of a firearm on the property will be asked to leave immediately.
- Report any safety concerns immediately to park management.
Utilities & Site Care
- Electric is metered and billed separately at $0.17 per kWh for monthly residents.
- Water, sewer, trash, and WiFi are included with all site rates.
- Do not tamper with electrical pedestals, water connections, or utility equipment.
- Report any utility issues to management promptly.
- Guests are responsible for any damage caused to utility connections at their site.
- Sewer connections must be properly sealed at all times to prevent odors.
General Conduct
- Down By The Bay RV Resort is an all-ages, family-friendly community. Treat all guests and staff with respect.
- Harassment, threats, or abusive behavior toward any person on the property will result in immediate removal.
- Illegal activities of any kind are strictly prohibited and will be reported to law enforcement.
- Management reserves the right to remove any guest who violates park rules without refund.
- Guests are responsible for any damage caused to park property.
- All guests must check in with the office upon arrival.
- Park management reserves the right to amend these rules at any time with reasonable notice.
By Staying at Down By The Bay, You Agree to These Rules
All guests, residents, and visitors are expected to comply with these policies. Violations may result in removal from the property without refund. If you have any questions, please contact the office.
